Finding New Fellows

Here at Ashoka Ireland we are entering an exciting time of growth. This year we aim to welcome a number of new Fellows into our Irish Community. At the moment we are in the initial stages of searchingand conducting due diligence on our nominations. As you are all intensely familiar with the Fellow venture process and what being a Fellow means, we would be very glad to receive any of your nominations.

As a gentle reminder, nominations must meet five criteria:

1.    A New Idea

2.    Creativity

3.    Entrepreneurial Quality

4.    Social Impact of the Idea

5.    Ethical Fiber

We consider our Irish Fellow Network to be very progressive, innovative and fantastic ambassadors of the Ashoka brand. We would especially love your nominations as we feel you are the best people to identify like minded individuals.

This year we are excited to host a European Panel here in Dublin, so will welcome prospective Fellows from all over Europe. We aim to host our panel in June, so get your nominations in quick! Please see below the timeline to election.

March: Rolling nomination process of Fellows from our nominator network.

April: Conducting due diligence on received nominations, including examining candidates in line with our five criteria.

May: We will be conducting extensive interviews, site visits and second opinion interviews

June: Hosting European Panel in Dublin, with new Fellows to be elected soon afterwards, upon the Ashoka Board reviewing their profile.

If you have a nomination, or any questions regarding a nomination, please don't hesitate to get in contact with Erin Fornoff (efornoff@ashoka.org) or Paul Stapleton (pstapleton@ashoka.org).
