Collaborating across regions, fields, and sectors, Ashoka Fellows achieve results more powerful than what they could accomplish on their own, including new initiatives, publicity, or theoretical concepts that will guide their respective fields and advance the citizen sector. We are connecting global business entrepreneurs and companies with social entrepreneurs for a process of strategy development to speed spread of vital new ideas, and supporting Ashoka Fellows to work full-time on their ideas and focus on larger vision and impact.
Ashoka Fellow Accelerator
The pace at which innovations scale and/or spread remains frustratingly slow. The primary barriers to Ashoka Fellows scaling and spreading innovations are strategy, talent and finance. Ashoka Ireland is developing and adapting innovative new approaches to systematically connect the network of social entrepreneurs with whom we work to the resources they need to scale/spread their innovations while accelerating their impact.
The Ashoka Fellow Accelerator represent an opportunity to learn from, share experience with, inspire, be inspired and connect with Irelands leading business and social entrepreneurs concerned with transforming Irish society, many of whom are integral members of our Ashoka Support Network, a group committed to supporting Ashoka financially and through business acumen and strategy. We connect Fellows with leading firms providing pro-bono resources--from consulting to finance to PR--to support the growth and expansion of their work. If necessary, we provide a salary for up to three years to allow candidates to work full-time on their idea.
The Ashoka Fellowship and Accelerator also allows access to the global network of nearly 3000 social entrepreneurs from around the world, offering support, inspiration, door-opening, and vital contacts in every corner of the world.
